The Slow Birth of SpacePersian

This year has been spent working on my art, and trying to learn as much as I can. I am hoping to bring SpacePersian on etsy.com to life this week.(As in,actually have stuff in stock.) Here are a couple antique and vintage treasures I have picked up for the shop, plus a current photo of me.(I'm the one on the right with the brown dress.) And.....my little default shop sign on etsy.com which I am super proud of.:) More to come soon.

Back from outer space...

The wedding was amazing. Perfect. The night was very fast, but everything went so well. Even the things I was worried about turned out okay. I will have to write the story when I am in the mood.

I must say, for all you google search people out there-my florist I worked with did an AMAZING JOB! I still have to give vendors credit for all their work on reviews, but Dore at Stems in Evergreen,Colorado was a life saver. I never dreamed my flowers would look so amazing. I spent several months looking for the perfect flowers in magazines and the web, it was a very painful process. My first meeting with Dore was great. She took my odd and end suggestions and came up with something that was perfect for us. So my message to all you budget brides out there near Evergreen, Colorado," Don't you dare do your own flowers!!! "Seriously, drop that fantasy now. On my wedding day I was so busy/nervous I couldn't have done them if I tried. I am so glad I didn't.

I arrived in my bridal changing room and saw the bouquets there. My first thought was beautiful, but it took me a moment to realize they were mine and not room decor! They just came out so fab I couldn't even picture it. I will have to get more photos of them up soon. My photographer said it was one of the best he ever saw. Thank you,Dore and Stems, as the flowers were the most stunning part of everything to me.

I will be spending sometime posting on the wedding in Evergreen, because I did plan my wedding across the country and it took much research. I know how helpful a blog can be when trying to make choices.=)

Other than that, I am trying to get back in creative mode. I find it to be very hard with my darling toddler. Not much time for Mommy to work on things, as my little lovebug does not like to play alone. One day, and one project, at a time...=)
